Holy Week 2021

As the season of Lent draws to a close we look forward to Holy Week and our observance of the sacred rites of Holy Week.  As we prepare to walk in the footsteps of our Lord on his journey to the Cross may we find our faith renewed and our spirits restored. An increasing number of our community has received or will receive vaccination for Covid-19.  In light of this, we are inviting you to return to Church to once more gather with brothers and sisters to worship in the beauty of holiness.  We will continue to be careful, wearing our masks and maintaining some distance, and you will notice a little change in the way Holy Communion is administered.  But much will be familiar and we hope, uplifting, to our hearts and souls.

We will need a full slate of readers and servers for the services. If you have served in the past or would like to begin serving as a lector, acolyte, subdeacon, or thurifer please let Mother Robyn or Kay Williams know and you will be scheduled.  We can provide refresher or new training for those who would find it helpful.

Also, it would be helpful to have some idea of attendance for the Holy Week Services. For those who are not ready for in person worship, please know that we will continue to offer the livestream by ZOOM. If you can please let Mother Robyn know if you will be attending any or all of the services.

Maundy Thursday: April 1, 6:30 pm
Good Friday: April 2, 12 noon
Great Vigil of Easter: Saturday April 3, 7:30 pm
Easter Sunday: April 4, 10:30 am

Spring is coming and we are looking forward to the renewal of our common life of worship and fellowship.

Be well… be safe… be blessed.
